About Assembly

Imagine seeing thousands of women united again in one place and time where hope is in the air. Women ready to heal, ready to celebrate and ready to act. Here is what to expect at Assembly:

At the Community Gatherings we will join our sisterhood to find spiritual healing.

Community Gatherings

At the Community Gatherings we will join our sisterhood to find spiritual healing, hope and renewal through impactful worship experiences, inspiring speakers, integrated performing arts and by lifting our voices in song. Rich, scriptural passages from James and Matthew will guide the celebration of our identity in a new time, a time that calls us to TURN IT UP!

Workshops

A key component of every United Women in Faith Assembly is participatory workshops that TURN IT UP! to engage and nurture attendees, provide skills and tools to inspire leadership and make a difference in your communities. Town Hall Meetings and film discussions bring together experts on many topics while challenging us to think in new ways.
Experience Hall

Experience Hall

TURN IT UP! for fun and enrichment in our walking journey experience that simultaneously welcomes and includes new sisters while teaching us how to inspire and influence new women back home. Join us for a Fairtrade Marketplace, networking and gathering spaces, Partners and Sponsors areas, and much more.

Connect Women to Act

We know when we connect, we amplify our power as women to make a difference. Bond with the sisterhood and TURN IT UP! by putting your faith into action.

Virtual Option

Can't join us in Orlando? Then join us from your living room! Assembly 2022 has both in-person and online experiences allowing even more women to participate and Turn it Up. Virtual attendees get access to all five Community Gatherings, one workshop on Friday and Saturday, exclusive behind-the-scenes speaker interviews, and sisterhood networking.

Ubuntu
Day of Service

“Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu: A person is a person through other persons.”
– A South African saying

Ubuntu is a unique word, a concept, a worldview, which captures the very essence of what it is to be human. A Zulu phrase, Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu, says, “I am only because we are, and since we are, therefore I am.” It recognizes each human being as part of a community. Above all, it is a gathering of God’s people to celebrate God-with-us, Immanuel, who moves us to action on behalf of our neighbor. Ubuntu is a celebration of being in community with people as mission.

Ubuntu Day of Service, a pre-conference experience on Thursday, May 19, is designed to celebrate mission as relational. Field trips offer opportunities to experience how communities are impacted by persons and systems and how people are making a difference.
